You need a professional to convert an old 8mm and 16mm home movies and
we at Photo 60 Studio have been doing
this for customers since 1996. At first,
people wanted to convert these homemade
movies to VHS tapes then came the era of DVDs in 2000s and this was considered
to be the technological advancement par excellence but this has also faded with
time like all technologies do and now is the era of getting these 8mm and 16mm
films converted to digital.
The DVDs were certainly convenient for the people as they were cheaper
and the chapters could be titled as they were on the films but the biggest
advantage came with the fact that you no longer had to wait to rewind the stuff
as it was with the VHS tapes and lets admit it was quite annoying. Another huge
advantage that DVD had over the VHS tapes was that making copies of DVD
wouldn’t destroy the quality of the actual video.
These days we use Blu-ray dicks rather than DVDs though they have the
same features as the DVDs had but the quality is much more improved now. The
current trend though is to get them converted to digital format as there is no
compression of video quality and you get several other advantages as well. At
Photo 60 studio we have done it all, we have expertise in photo
colorization service, photo scanning service, prepaid
photo scanning box, professional film developing, 16mm to digital, and
professional
photo restoration.
